Your patience with our redesign is greatly appreciated as we focus on creating great volleyball experiences and redesign the website!  Now that the busy local volleyball season is winding down we are going on our first trip to Spain October 5th to 13th - we will focus on redesign of the website November to January.  Stay tuned!

Here is what happened in 2024 for VOLLEYBALL EXPERIENCES - and coming for 2025!

SECTION 1:  LOWER MAINLAND BRITISH COLUMBIA VOLLEYBALL SERIES

With our home in Vancouver, British Columbia this is our local programming

 

(1) TOPDOGS LEADERBOARD GRASS TOURNAMENTS (NOW OVER FOR 2024 - similar is expected for 2025 but waiting for dates)

We partnered for a second year with Cambie Sports and were thrilled to announce our TOP DOG LEADERBOARD SERIES with 10 grass tournament dates. The more you play, and the better you do, the more points you collect towards being crowned Top Dog of 2024.  We had over 950 people participate in at least one tournament.

(2) BEACH DIVA BUFFET EXTRAVAGANZA TOURNAMENTS (Now over for 2024 but similar May and September dates expected for 2025)

These are non-profit tournament socials with a legacy group of friends that play beach volleyball and enjoy a buffet extravaganza!  It is a community building get together.  To learn more and sign-up for participation JOIN TONIC VOLLEYBALL

We also ran a 16 week league this past year on Tuesdays and looking to expand league in 2025.

(3) BEACH VOLLEYBALL COMMUNITY BUILDING MEET & GREETS (free get togethers) - now over for 2024 (stay tuned for 2025)

These are random days where people can sign up for meet and greet playing.  The play is primarily intermediate to advanced 2X2.  On occasion we will have beginner days or designated courts - when we say beginner - these are volleyball players that play 4's or 6's usually but have now advanced to wanting to try and play 2's.  To participate JOIN the chat specific to meet & greets on TONIC VOLLEYBALL

SECTION 2:  2024 VOLLEYBALL VACATIONS

(1) THAILAND EXPLORATION VOLLEYBALL VACATION: Stay, Play & Explore Thailand

We went to Thailand March 19 - April 6 in 2024.  We are going back in 2025 with a bigger group AND exact dates are TBD (February / March timeframe is anticipated)

- 3 Package options (13, 16 and 18 nights)

- 12 to 14 maximum people in 2024 where we travelled and linked up with locals to play in different tournaments and train.  In 2025 this will be expanded!

- 3 islands (Ko Samui, Ko Phangan, Phuket) plus Bangkok

- Includes volleyball free play, 5 days of tournaments, optional training - and if worried with such a small group there won't be enough play, we have coordinated with the local volleyball organizers and are mixing ourselves into their scene and participating in a few tournaments.

- Includes accommodations, foodie experiences in each location, guide book for exploring, option to explore independently or with the group, organization of dinners and socials, goodie bags, ...

(2) VANCOUVER OPEN, BRITISH COLUMBIA CANADA: Packages for players and spectators travelling to Vancouver for the Open (NOW OVER FOR 2024 BUT will be back for 2025)

(3) PARKSVILLE BRITISH COLUMBIA CANADA: Stay, Play, Socialize & Explore

Dates under consideration for 2025

Weekend tournament, socials, games, activities & food.  Permits have been approved for up to 25-30 beach courts.

(4) MONTREAL ELITE 16 2.0:  Watch the Pros, Stay, Socialize & Explore

August 28 - September 1, 2024 - this event was cancelled in 2024 and we are waiting to hear if it will happen in 2025.  If it does we will bring a group - alternatively we will plan a group trip to the AVP for a main event  

Tonic is working with Festival Smash, the Montreal Elite 16 hosts, to offer a wider variety of packages in 2024.  The excitement of the event was amazing in 2023 - you can just feel the energy when you watch this video: EXCITEMENT VIDEO MONTREAL ELITE16 2023

(5) PORTUGAL VOLLEYBALL VACATION 2.0: Stay, Play, Train, Socialize & Explore

We could not get the beach in 2024 due to World Ultimate Frisbee taking over the beach but we will be back in Portugal in October, 2025

(6) SPAIN VOLLEYBALL VACATION: Stay, Play, Train, Socialize & Explore

October 5 - 13, 2024 - let's go Spain - we will be going to Castelldefels, Sitges & Barcelona.

The camp includes free play, 5 tournaments, a training camp, "Taste of Spain" foodie experiences, a pool party with DJ/tapas/open bar, socials and exploring the area.

(7) AVP LOS ANGELES CHAMPIONSHIP: Watch the AVP top Pros, Stay, Play, Train, Socialize & Explore

Details were only recently announced for the league and originally we planned on brining a group November 9 - 10, 2024 however with our Spain trip we will not have enough time to plan this!  We will look at an AVP experience for 2025  (PLUS more dates added before or after for optional add-on training, free play, a tournament and exploring LA)

(8) PV MEXICO TRAINING CAMP: Stay, Play, Train & Explore PV

Dates to be determined - We are looking at January 2025.  A few things will determine the timing however we should know by end of September 2024.

OTHER LOCATIONS are being researched and will be developed more quickly as the business grows!  This is only our 2nd year due to being put on delay with the the pandemic.  We welcome hearing from people where they would really like to go an will put a poll on the FB Group TONIC VOLLEYBALL in the featured section.

SECTION 3:  EVENTS, FOODIE EXPERIENCES & PRO VOLLEYBALL VIEWING PARTIES

Last year we discussed having some local events and viewing parties.  Two things got in the way of that - time available to plan the events AND there were issues with viewing rights.  If we can resolve those aspects we look forward to hosting a few events this year.

Again thank you for your patience while we rebuild the website - we are working really hard to give you the best volleyball experiences but admit the tech part is not our strength - that said - it will be much easier now that busy season is over and we have time again starting in November to work on the website.    Hopefully see you all soon!
